My photography practice sits between documentary and fine art, exploring the relationship between place, materiality and perception. I am drawn to the environments, objects and moments that exist on the edge of our awareness, and the evidence of time and change embedded in our surroundings.

My process begins with paying attention – rather than staging images, I work through sustained observation. The practice of looking, walking and responding guides my creativity, producing images shaped by my encounters. I hold photography as a way of seeing, a way of slowing down and communing with the everyday.

Throughout my work, I return to places in a state of transition. I am interested in the role photography plays in remembrance, and its ability to preserve both the visible and intangible qualities that define my experience of place. Textures, surfaces, and layered details are also focal points, serving as anchors for memory and markers of change.
